Why doesn't anyone investigate who is telling Central American families that now is the best time to

send their unaccompanied children to the US?

It happened under Obama (who actually had a strict immigration policy) and it is happening now under Biden. Both times the GOP was quick to make political hay.

Why isn't the cause being investigated? It wasn't investigated under Obama either.

My personal theory is that right wing evangelical churches (the fastest growing Churches for Latin Americans) is responsible propped up by money from the usual RW sources. They are intentionally creating a crisis on the border to damage the Democrat's policy initiatives.

Investigate!

A recovering U. S. economy and a return to humane treatment of all immigrants, legal and otherwise will give rise to increased migration. Just logical reality.

but sometimes , for a variety of reasons like caring for too young or too old relatives, families make separation decisions.

populations?

My theory is wild speculation, but it seems unlikely that unaccompanied minors rush our shores whenever it is politically expedient for the GOP. Does anyone really believe that happened without cause? Really?

Last year, at the start of covid, we had a whole group of Guatemalan refugees get sick in my little Oregon coastal town. They were indigenous tribespeople who spoke no English or Spanish -- just an indigenous language that no one could translate.

They had been brought here for seasonal work in a fish processing factory. It was very organized. Someone provided some sort of housing, buses, etc. But no one knew who was behind it. Once they got sick, they couldn't work and many ended up in hotel rooms.

They were very small, dark people with no jobs, money, health insurance, or language, wandering around during a pandemic a very white rural area. We'd see them occasionally at Walmart in large groups stocking up on food. They looked scared and forlorn.

Someone is making bank on these poor folks.

for the US as their church(with US evangelical links) got visas for them.
Then we discovered that some didn't actually have visas are were part of the smuggling networks. Didn't take much digging to find out that it's very much part of the process in the hemisphere. Never forget that many of these so called pastors are snake oil salesmen hustling money by any means necessary.
They have long been the RWs response to Liberation Theology.

The agriculture industry hires over 2 million workers each year for planting, growing and harvesting our food. They have a regular work circuit that takes them all over the US at different times of the year.

Cui bono? is a key question that’s been asked by more than few Europe-watchers in recent months as migrants have helped shift EU politics decisively to the right. It’s difficult to avoid noticing that many of the far-right parties reaping the whirlwind now across the EU have positive views of Vladimir Putin’s Russia. The EU’s rising right admires the Kremlin for its unapologetic emphasis on traditional values, state sovereignty and zero tolerance for jihadism. Anti-immigrant rallies in Germany have featured protestors brandishing Russian flags prominently, as well as German ones.

This extends beyond mere sympathy. France’s FN has accepted millions of dollars in funding from the Kremlin, while Germany’s AfD seems to have benefitted from Russian largesse as well. It’s therefore not surprising that the leaders of those parties have warm, praising things to say about Mr. Putin and his regime, viewing Russia as a bulwark of conservatism and an ally against migrant invasion.

There were still unaccompanied minors at the border the last 4 years, the Rightwing media just didn't cover it or call it a crisis.

Has the number increased some? Yeah, up maybe 25%, probably due to the fact parents know Joe is a decent man and their children are less likely to be tortured under Biden than under Trump who advocated for torturing children.

Joe could start torturing children like Trump did and these numbers would fall, but that's not the moral thing to do.
