The Vice President uses a B-757 designated as Air Force 2 when the VP is aboard. VP Harris will probably be driven to Andrews.

I worry about them even being in the same place together, but glad at least they don't travel together.

When our kids were little (all those many years ago), Mr. Dissenter and I never flew together - just in case. The entire country is even a bit more of a responsibility to risk leaving behind than our precious LittleDissenters.

begin to go on about dementia, etc.

Maybe the boot from the ankle injury makes it harder to deal with the steps, which look carpeted.

myself included, trip on stairs, their own feet, uneven sidewalk, all the freaking time.

Just today, I went to our tiny city hall to pay a bill and a middle aged dude tripped on the step on the way in! I didn't laugh, even though he was wearing a MAGA hat.

On my way back, the news break said that Biden had tripped on the stairs and I just knew they'd make a giant deal of it, even though most people occasionally just trip over stuff. I bet the boot doesn't help matters any either!

for the full, dramatic effect.

By tonight this will have morphed into the RWNJ's Zapruder film.
