House Democrats are making a blunder of biblical proportions by supporting legislation that would protect women against domestic violence, Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene argued in a bizarre Twitter thread.

The controversial Republican lawmaker opposed the Violence Against Women Reauthorization Act — which was passed by the House on Wednesday — on the grounds that it would allow for transgender women to be in women’s prisons.

The House also passed a resolution Wednesday that would remove the deadline for states to ratify the Equal Rights Amendment.

“Again Democrats want to violate girls and women’s rights by destroying God’s creation, male and female. Putting biological men in women’s prisons, abuse shelters and extending them rights does NOT help biological women and girls who have been through hell,” Greene tweeted on Wednesday.

That's what I get out of her obsession.

Trans people are the only marginalized people it's still OK to attack, in her mind. The percentage of actual trans female high school athletes they claim to be protecting our girls from is miniscule.

No one is forcing her to be gay, to take testosterone, or to compete in athletics. Maybe she lost her extreme fitness competition to a transwoman. That's why her panties are all bunched.

Pisses me off that they all of a sudden pretend to be enthusiastic about girls sports. It took an act of Congress just to get decent sports for girls in schools. I went to school before title nine so I know. I remember Ruth Bader Ginsburg said that her opinion of labor laws about women, was that they really were written to protect men’s jobs.
