The new hire will spend the first 90 days on the job shadowing winemaker Dave Ready Jr. and will then be tasked with a variety of assignments depending on their interests, including developing working relationships across functions of the winery and effectively promoting Murphy-Goode wines through various channels and events.
During their employment, the winery will work with the new employee to help them pivot their career and choose their path in the wine industry.
Our job is to help guide their path in the wine business, support their passions and provide a platform to achieve their dream job, said Tigner. The job could include anything from winemaking to viticulture, hospitality, culinary, digital marketing, and beyond. The skys the limit!

(3,602 posts)I live in Point Richmond but I'm in Rohnert Park a lot because my mom lives there. I love that area and hubby and I hope to move up that way at some point.
We love the Sonoma wine country and regularly go wine tasting. That winery job in the OP sounds great but it would be a LOT of work LOL

(5,065 posts)retirement was around the corner, we started looking around for a warmer climate. Sonoma County was (mostly) ideal and we could afford to move here. Been living here for the past 4 years or so. The people in my neighborhood are usually friendly and a lot of them are dog lovers. (When we go out for walks I see a lot of people with their dogs out and about.) Who knows, I may have run across your mom while I've been walking or running errands.

I will be down in end of April after my last shot next week to stay with cousin and finally visit family.
I love Sonoma county but too expensive for us in retirement.
My daughter is top manager of Manly Honda in Santa Rosa so she is doing well. I am proud of her!! She got her second shot at Kaiser today yay!!
