More than 43 million Americans - 1 in 6 adults - have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19

according to the CDC

One in six adults in the US - about 17% of the population- have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as of Saturday, according to data published Saturday by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

More than 121 million vaccine doses have been administered in the US as of Saturday, according to the data, published through the CDC's vaccine tracker. About 35 million more doses - or nearly 157 million doses -of the vaccine have been delivered to medical providers, according to the data.

More than 43 million people in the US have been fully vaccinated, with Americans receiving either both of the two-shot Pfizer or Moderna vaccines or the single-shot Johnson & Johnson vaccine. More than 79 million people in the US have received at least one dose of the two-shot vaccines, according to the CDC.

And more than 40% of people aged 65 and older, who carry a higher risk of serious illness and death, have been fully vaccinated for the disease, while 68% of seniors in this age range have received at least one part of the vaccine.

The state is leaving vax choice up to clients and workers. One of my clients is bringing on a new caregiver who was refusing to get vaccinated. She then changed her tune when she found out she wouldn't be brought on board without a vaccination. She complained and whined for two days. I told her she could find employment elsewhere, it wasn't negotiable. She's getting vaccinated and will be providing proof. Enough with the bullshit healthcare providers shoving their rw bullshit beliefs and putting patients at risk. Not having it with my clients. So done with these fucking self-serving trump ass kissers. DONE

For stuff that isn't mailed and pharmacist told me they weren't doing shots not only because of refrigeration and being small but because they weren't getting the shot because it was new and not tested long enough.

I wonder if that is how other doctors feel?

I thought about that but decided I don't want to die. Wondering why doctors and nurses are taking that chance?

We normally get our flu shots there but got covid shot at a small clinic locally.

Work paid for the vaccine and Walgreens crew came to us. At work. No fucking reason not to.
But not mandatory. I made myself leave cause I was ready to storm into admin and HR and pick a fight.

Infuriating.

same webinar as I did on vaccine hesitancy. There were 7 MDs on the panel. She is an RN BSN. She said the webinar did not convince her to take the vaccine. So she feels she knows more than the public health MDs and the oncologist and the other doctors on the panel because they said you are not going to die from the vaccine. She heard a few thousand have. It's some small amount have died from it. But, that would be a very few out of 150,000,000 and how many die from covid? A hell of a lot more than that.

Working through a lot of people in addition to the mass vax sites in the larger cities and areas.

Gotta love only having to travel a mile in suburbia to get it.
