Arkansas Governor: Trump Supporters' Vaccine Hesitancy Stems from 'Natural Resistance to Government'

Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson, a Republican, said Sunday that vaccine hesitancy among supporters of former President Trump is the result of a “natural resistance to government,” calling the reluctance to get the vaccine “worrisome.”

On CNN’s State of the Union, host Dana Bash asked Hutchinson what he believes is causing the hesitancy seen among Trump voters, noting that half of the 45th president’s supporters have said they do not plan on receiving a coronavirus vaccine.

“Well I’ve thought a lot about that and I think it’s a natural resistance to government and skepticism of it,” Hutchinson said. “But you look at the breadth of support here in Arkansas for President Trump, and you have rural voters, you have minority voters and their hesitancy is worrisome, not just here but all across the country.”

“And I expect, as a country, we’ll get the 50 percent vaccination rate of the population, but we’re going to have a harder time getting from 50 percent to 70 percent, and it’s about overcoming the skepticism,” he added.

Republicans have a 'Natural resistance' to anything intelligent.

Feds need to make sure no vaccine is wasted. I feel for the Arkansas residents who know better than to believe this nonsense, but the GOP has peddled fear for years and we are not going to change a lot of those minds now.

Republicans have cultivated and nurtured that resistance for forty years.

The resistance to the vaccine from them is mainly a temper tantrum because he LOST. So...that means they are engaging in a form of biological warfare.

Start excluding them from events and businesses. Everything has a cost. The cost for doing fun things should be two jabs of Pfizer or Moderna, or one jab of J&J.

Resistance to government is actually a refusal to be governable.
America was founded by people who could not get along with their neighbors.
They left their neighbors behind in Europe.
They drove out their new neighbors here, be they Indigenous or Quaker.
They left town.

It worked well enough in the past when we were fewer, the land grander and there was still a frontier.
It is now time for USa (sic) to grow up and all learn the civil wisdom known to urbanity for millennia.

In order to see a REAL Dr., they would have to fill out forms that might ask if they own guns. Or they might be asked for a blood, urine or stool sample, which everyone knows is how they get your DNA. Any type of biopsy or injection is out, that's how they get the chips and aborted babies into your body. You can trust prescribed meds because they all come from China and allow them to control your mind. Except Oxy, that one seems to be exempt.
I am retired now, but personally cared for a man who, once we talked him into removing his hat to look at his "itchy scalp", we found maggots eating brain tissue. He was dead in less than 24 hours. I have removed a variety of herbs, weeds and who knows what else neatly tied in a fabric package and packed into a woman's vagina who was about to give birth. Not sure what drove her to trust the ER.
