It's such a ridiculous waste of money, I have to wonder if it's some kind of scam -- either trying to suck up donor money from suckers or gather names and emails from petitions for some future spam effort.
Now let me be clear, in an ideal world, Obama would be a wonderful Supreme Court justice. But (and you may want to sit down for this) we are not living in that ideal world. So, to wit:
Obama is nearly 60 years old. That's not the right age,
There are literally dozens of highly qualified, much younger potential candidates who could do the same calibre of job,
Obama is doing exactly what he wants right now, all in a unique national service that he alone can do as a private citizen and geared at making life better for all Americans,
Him sitting on the Supreme Court would mean taking himself out of all other political involvement,
He would have to take a tremendous pay cut, and of course...
There's not currently a vacancy on the Supreme Court for him to be nominated too ( 😆 )
If you see this petition, do not sign it and do not give your email or any other information to these people. I don't know if they are acting out of malice or stunning political ignorance. Maybe the worst thing could happen is they sell your email address to some spammer. But these people are not your friends

It's stupid and pointless as far as any issue is concerned. Somebody is just collecting your email address for future solicitations. If you want to get somebody in government's attention, contact their office directly.
