1. The Miami Police weren’t in charge of security at the Capitol.

2. They weren’t overwhelmed with the abrupt arrival of thousands of people.

3. The people on the beach were an organized group.

2. The Miami Police are an urban police force. The Capitol Police are more like a Mayberry police force

The Capitol is like a small village embedded in the middle of DC.

The DC Police could have handled the situation.

Over 20,000 people came many wi the the intent to attack the Capitol. They went through all of the chemical munitions they had on hand. They fought for hours, and only one person was shot and killed.
