stupid' plansAn armed QAnon devotee drove 800 miles from Wisconsin to Washington, DC, and had plans to do something "crazy stupid," according to a criminal complaint first reported on by the Daily Beast.
Ian Alan Olson was in DC ahead of March 4 - a highly anticipated date for QAnon followers. Some believers of the discredited conspiracy thought that the day would result in former President Donald Trump's reinstatement and the beginning of "The Storm."
The day before this failed fantasy date, Olson told a member of the National Guard that he was "maybe going to do something crazy stupid tomorrow."
Shortly after, Olson was approached by Capitol police. He told the police officer that he wanted to "test the National Guard tomorrow to see if they were loyal to the people or to the President," according to the complaint.

After this fucking idiot got back from DC, he went to the Wisconsin Army Reserve Center, shouted "This is for America!" and fired paintball rounds at two reservists.
He missed.
The soldiers then went all Ndamukong Suh on his ass. They tackled him so fucking hard it left a dent in the ground, then sat on the idiot until the cops arrived.
When the cops got him back to the station, he said he would cause a "mass casualty" event and people would "remember his name." He also says that he went to DC to test whether the National Guard troops there were loyal to the president or to Qanon. The complaint also says that he told the officers, "I am ready for this. How many people need to die for a message to get across?"
The man also owns "armor piercing bullets" (I suspect they're just M855s for the AR15, which aren't really AP rounds) and "several guns."
He's staring at federal felony charges of attacking US servicemembers on account of their service and for assaulting officers. He's also looking at state-level misdemeanors for attempted battery and disorderly conduct. He's still in jail.
This is a man who can never leave prison. He is too dangerous to be among the public.
