Jonathan Capehart is great but Joshua Johnson and Medhi Hasan need to get the heave ho. Sharpton must have compromising pictures of network brass to be on both days. They should give the entire morning block to Capehart. Great interviewer with great guests.

The Rev is OK but, does he really need to get an hour?

(54,770 posts)I still have CNN or MSNBC on in background, but just dont pay much attention because Im not worried above trumps latest screw up. CNN has some good prerecorded shows on Saturday and Sunday nights.
Before inauguration, I thought CNN and MSNBC just about all weekend slots were good, probably because I wanted to hear what the heck was going on. Not so much, now. Kind of like it.

Mehdi's show is always provocative. I don't agree with everything he says but he definitely is a great interviewer. His interview with Congressman Crenshaw tonight was impressive.

(29,442 posts)I like them both.
I don't like that Hasan is anti-choice, but other than that I enjoy his show quite a bit.
eta: I hate the Dateline marathon they have on overnight. When I have insomnia, I'd much prefer reruns of shows I missed during the day.

I like what she has to say but cant stand to listen to her as host. I can tolerate her for short guest appearances. However, I cant listen to her high pitched voice for longer than that. It is a shame because I like her ideas.

(9,638 posts)that voice just grates on me.
They should get her a vocal coach to tone it down a bit.

(52,545 posts)and I am so glad he finally got his own show. He is an excellent host and interviewer. That said, I haven't watched much news on the weekends the last few weeks. After four years of Trump, I guess I needed a break.

(67,906 posts)I like his insights. I am not religious at all, but I appreciate his views that are shaded by his faith. I don't see anything wrong with that.
