For The Love Of God Do Not Bitlock Anything

If your hard drive is bitlocked, and you spill beer on your machine, I can't take your hard drive and put it into another laptop and send you on your way with all your programs, and data.

If you are lucky and you know all the right answers with a huge hassle, we may be able to do it, or get your data.

It will cost you.

Bitlocker is there to make you buy another laptop when your hard drive gets corrupt.

And you lose all data you didn't back up.

If your hard drive becomes corrupt, forget it. Your data is gone.

Take it from an expert.

Me.

And back up like your hard drive will die in one hour, because it just might.

Danie~

If someone gets hold of your computer, they won't be able to read the data.

A couple or three times over the years. My current HDD don’t know when to quit though. Wants to outlive me, lol.

bitlocker is there to make your data more secure. It really is not there to sell disks. It is at this point a reliable feature of W10 and is the default config on new systems. Also people with work provided systems are frequently required to use this feature.

But certainly you have to back up your data if you want to be able to recover from some disasters.

Biden's kid's laptop would not have been anything at all had the drive had encryption enabled.

Leading to nightmares for our customers.

They just really don't give a rat's ass about customers.

Bitlocking me for my own good.

Bull.
