Admitting something was so beyond fact that it means it's not defamatory seems desperate.
I'm no lawyer, but this seems closer to self-incrimination than it is to a defense.

Sounds almost like she's claiming it was satire.

While at the same time having presented it as an argument in official court documents as 'evidence'.

This should be interesting

I'm sure they love that sort of courtroom performance!

And I'd be certain they weren't amused then, and they're even less amused now

Looking to find and hang Mike Pence, and Pelosi. This poor excuse for a human needs to go down. This shit has to stop. You don't get to go around lying hysterically and then say never mind. This person shouldn't be allowed to practice law in any state ever again. She is suddenly worried about standing, that didn't matter to her when reps from other states were putting their nose in Georgia, and Arizona and Wisconsin to try to overturn the results in states they don't even represent.

See since no REASONABLE person would believe the bullshit she originally filed with the court, all the Unreasonable things she said there cant be used against her since shes an unreasonable person to begin with (even tho NOW she doesnt believe any of that silly nonsense).

And so it follows that the people following her are the ones being unreasonable. So this should all go away.

See?
SEE?
Dont you SEE??

WHY DONT YOU SEE AND AGREE WITH ME, MR FEDERAL JUDGE?

Replying to @questauthority
For those keeping score, the defense now claims both that the case must be dismissed because no reasonable person would believe that the claims are statements of fact and that it must be dismissed because Powell believes the things she said are facts.

I do believe that Sidney Powell has just moved to dismiss Dominion's case against her because she believes things that she believes no reasonable person would believe.

That Trump supporters are not reasonable people? Where else does that leave Trump people that swear what she said is true since no reasonable person would believe her lies. Asking for a friend.

The vast majority of the Republican party believed her claims. Furthermore if she was aware her claims were bogus hyperbole then why did she file legal claims in the courts?? That has to be abuse of the legal system. She should lose her law license.
