Otherwise it is a common law writ that requires the office holder to show what authority allows them to hold office or duties of that office...I paraphrase.

Multiple lawsuits failed to overturn results. Congress certified results after a failed insurrection seeking to overturn results. Biden was sworn in by Chief Justice of Supreme Court.

There has probably never been a presidential election in US history with the winning candidate enjoying such a well-documented warrant to office

They're trying to make President Biden prove he was validly elected.

Unfortunately for them, the Electoral College (who actually elects the president) voted 306-232 for Joe Biden.
