Great video from good ole Randi Rhodes on what is really going on with the border crisis

Same old same old. For 50 years the Republicans destroy and gut government institutions and when Democrats are back in charge they complain about what a bad job the Democrats are doing. I'm so sick of this fricken pattern. It's going to take a couple of years to repair what the Trumpanzees destroyed.

“solutions” are aimed at ignoramuses and involve fear.

Democrats want to hear their lawmakers discuss issues with honesty and integrity and solve complex problems. Republicans want their lawmakers to nurture prejudice and give them a perpetual hate device in which to blame all their personal shortcomings on.

Swalwell nailed it the other day:

“This reflects what I call the WWE culture of Congress. In private, Republicans laugh at Trump and eye-roll the theatrics they have to perform to not alienate the base. They think they can slam democracy with a steel chair in the ring and then backstage we are all cool. It’s sick.”
