So, the #SuezCanal is blocked...
Massive container ship EVER GIVEN stuck in the most awkward way possible.
Ongoing for hours. Every tug Egypt could spare appear to be trying to pull it free.

After all day trying to refloat the mega container ship 'Ever Given', in the Suez Canal, there is a steady log jam of ships waiting in the Mediterranean & Red Sea and in the canal itself

Latest update: the EVER GIVEN is... still ever-jammed across the #SuezCanal.
Also, a teeny excavator tried to help.
Thanks @rmcfadzean for surfacing the pic!

Evergreen Marine Corporation, is a Taiwanese container transportation and shipping company headquartered in Luzhu District, Taoyuan City, Taiwan.
They paint the band name on their ships.
Many of their ship names begin with "EVER"

(1,896 posts)It is not the ship stuck in the canal.
What I addressed was the reason for the discrepancy in the name of the vessel.
Take a look...

I misplaced my post in thread.
My response was meant for the post that said it was the Evergreen.
Sorry.
