Looks dark-coated. Major's face is darker than Champ's. I'm less sure about the coat on the rest of the body. Then again, the light is low, so it's hard to tell anyway.
And, of course, Champ is a little bigger, but it's hard to tell from this angle.
Much more fun trying to figure this out than to determine if Mrs TFG had a double or not...
