benefit most from the changing of the Filibuster rule on Voting Rights !
I've been scratching my head as to why no one has even challenged him on his refusal, seeing as even West Virginia Republicans are in the process of bringing in new Voter Suppression laws, which will directly help defeat Manchin himself. He NEEDS to defeat these laws, and HR1/VRA is the only way he can guarantee to do that. He only won in 2018 by 19,000 votes.
My only thought is that this is just a process he is going through to get to the point where he says "Well, I tried", and then supports Senate Dems in getting rid of that specific rule, while keeping the overall Filibuster in place.
However, I haven't heard MSM state the obvious on "Who benefits ?", which i find really strange.
