Anyone else seeing NRA ads here?

I only see them when I’m not logged in, but they’re persistent and despite telling stupid Google about a billion times that I’m not interested, they won’t stop showing them to me.

And before anyone asks, no. I’ve never looked up anything concerning the NRA in recent memory. I have no idea why I’m seeing this shit.

I guess the solution is just to never log off.

1. I'm not a star member so I see those all the time.

Usually framed as some sort of quiz like "Are you ok with Democrats taking people's guns" or something similar. When the former, currently unemployed guy was in office I often saw ads asking me to support him or take a survey about how much I supported him and his sick agenda. It would be a nice change to see the "one weird trick for belly fat" ads you usually see on site.

And, because it needs to be reiterated, like you, I have never searched for anything in any way related to the NRA or guns.

2. Is the NRA paying DU for ads? If so, I'm OK with that.

3. If you are seeing ads that are inappropriate for DU report them.

Google serves ads without advance review. Unless inappropriate ads are reported, they will continue to be shown. If they are reported, they can be prevented from being shown again.
