(16,843 posts)or at least moving it off the scheduled list and and removing penalties for cannabis use. There are Republicans as well as Democrats who would support this. We would not only save a lot of money from no longer paying to incarcerate all these people, we would also stop destroying lives by locking people up for years and disenfranchising them and ruining their job prospects. This would be a great relief to a lot of disadvantaged groups in our country, including the poor and minorities.

(9,952 posts)not a single thing at this point I do not think Biden has exceled at. Good for Biden, or whomever took care of this issues. Not even close to a game breaker, but it was stupid to fire people because of pot. I am happy they corrected this or fixed it to allow even pot or x pot smokers a job.
