The Storm Prediction Center has upgraded your region to a High Risk for tornadoes and severe storms today. It looks like it might be worse than last week. A 30% chance of a tornado hitting within 25 miles of you might not seem like much, but it is. Stay safe everyone!

(17,747 posts)A storm system went through that same area a few years ago and did a lot of damage and killed a lot of people. I hope they're spared this year. The area where I live isn't as prone to have tornadoes, so we should be fine, but northern Mississippi and Alabama, along with central Tennessee are ground zero.
