The worst they would give him would be some probation.

when he gets to that line on the application that says, "Have you ever been arrested? Explain below" he'll wish he had a fireball shot.

18. That question has been illegal in most states (and the federal government) for years.

They can ask if you have been convicted of a felony. In my state (Illinois) there is a "ban the box" law which prohibits any questions about criminal history.
