Because 6 new Democratic Party Senators and at least 4 House seats as well.

They will play dirty politics as usual.

Not knowing what a prime number is, they would all be too busy trying to figure out how to get even rows of stars on the U.S. flag.........

With a population of 169,872 Guam is a bit small to rate one senator, let alone 2. I can see them with a congress person, though. Just my opinion as I think they need better representation than they currently enjoy however it is configured.

Puerto Rico has long deserved statehood as DC does. Puerto Rico is 2,808,652 citizens, while DC is 714,153. Both are larger than several states which have had Senate and Congressional representation for over 100 years

Not all are currently US citizens, so that change might not be accomplished in a single legislative step.

but they need someone beyond dept. of the interior or state to advocate for them and who would be answerable to them.

The fact that 53 is a prime number means nothing, especially when it leaves out the AVI.
