(8,665 posts)With a population of 169,872 Guam is a bit small to rate one senator, let alone 2. I can see them with a congress person, though. Just my opinion as I think they need better representation than they currently enjoy however it is configured.
Puerto Rico has long deserved statehood as DC does. Puerto Rico is 2,808,652 citizens, while DC is 714,153. Both are larger than several states which have had Senate and Congressional representation for over 100 years

Not all are currently US citizens, so that change might not be accomplished in a single legislative step.
