The second dose I received 5 hours ago and so far I am good. Not even the sore arm this time around. It could hit later, but right now all is good. Either way it's a million miles better than the alternative.

yesterday afternoon, and nothing for me, pressed the spot to reassure myself I got poked. ("Oh, good. It hurt." )

But my husband, who felt fine yesterday, woke with fatigue and a headache that are still with him. Both are so unusual for him that we're sure they're from the shot.

Sore arm both times. This time I have a hard itchy welt about 1.5" across. Nothing much to write home about.

A week from today my antibodies should be rocking and rolling. Of course, I'll be changing NOTHING in my daily safeguards.

life can start again. I know there's still a small chance I can get it after that, but it won't kill or debilitate me. I'll still wear a mask while flying, or in crowded spaces, or any other situation where the risk seems higher. I'll probably do that for the foreseeable future.

Where I live they are now giving out one dose to everyone who qualifies so as to get as many vaccinated as possible. So for my second dose I have to wait till mid July, I don't mind. The older people got 2 but because of the variants, the numbers are rising and they are nervous so they changed things.

what they should. We're in FL, not quite humming as it should, but with the state and county health departments up and running DiSantis's corrupt negligence is... Well, I don't know but in the background anyway.

But thankfully it seems the original plan of reserving the second doses and injecting three weeks later has won out. That is what is supported by the clinical data and anything else is an uncontrolled experiment (even if it has merit).

They changed things?? I've not heard of the rationing plan actually being implemented, where are you and what are the circumstances behind that?

After the second dose, antibody level increases dramatically. Which is why they did clinical trials with two doses as opposed to one.

My arm is aching just a little today, but it is easy to ignore. The arthritis in my left knee is much worse.

Funny, though - my right arm is aching exactly the same way. I put it down to sympathy pains.

And they're all indictments of the tragic Trump-McConnell period.

FL's about to lower eligibility to 40 years+.
