1. The media seems to forget Joe is POTUS, and not a senator

It is bizarre. Between this story about McConnell and the media’s attention to the filibuster, you’d think he was still in the Senate. It is just bizarre. I just heard Alex Wagner raise the question of what Biden plans to do about the filibuster. Makes you wonder if the media understands the machination of the federal government.

3. The filibuster (i.e. Joe Manchin) could grind the Biden agenda to a halt.

So it's legitimate to wonder how Joe's going to deal with it.

I think Joe Biden knows exactly who he is dealing with, and isn’t going to allow them to waste his precious time.

11. The question of how he will manage if the Senate won't pass legislation differs from the filibuster

The filibuster is a creature of the Senate and out of Joe’s reach. Asking Joe’s opinion about the filibuster seems irrelevant. Asking if he is considering executive branch alternative actions is legitimate. Asking how he might get GOP support (however fruitless) is legitimate. IMO there is too much focus on the creature.

That turd knows, if he had something good to offer democracy he could personally call the president and he would be immediately received.

McTurtle wouldn't even go there while it was infested with COVID. He can shut the F up.

4. Biden and Psakie are making this clearer and clearer

Ari Melber had a good discussion of it on his show yesterday. "Bipartisan" means Republican people support something, not that we have to get Republican Senators to sign onto it. I hope this will eventually put the "bipartisan" crap to bed. Probably not.

We don't really need to listen to you as we try to work on solutions to problems. You want to participate in the process? We need something more than "no." Otherwise you can sit outside the banquet hall with the five foolish virgins.
