... a political party can screw up voting at the last minute and the courts on a federal and state level don't have to address that screw up until they want to.

then

if it's too late Wisconsin happens.

We need HR1, that or I don't see where there's a tomorrow

And somehow, not as terrible as the Georgia GOP originally wanted.

From what I can tell, the worst parts are limiting drop boxes for ballots, and requiring ID numbers for absentee ballots. The prohibition of giving food or water to voters just seems petty but not likely that impactful.

Among the silver linings, it keeps Sunday voting and no-excuse absentee ballots, which were the two biggest things I was worried about.

I'm sure Marc Elias and Stacey Abrams are ready to fight this thing. And hopefully it will galvanize Democratic voters into realizing just how anti-democratic the Republicans are.
