There HAS to be a fierce backlash against the GOP in GA for this outrageous voter suppression bill

Last edited Thu Mar 25, 2021, 10:19 PM - Edit history (1)

Why would any black voter ever vote Republican? Why would any decent person vote Republican?

Also, so much of this bill seems unconstitutional. It is just insane how bad it is.

Home Depot
Honda
LexisNexis
Turner Broadcasting

Give them a ring and ask whether they intend to keep their HQs in a state that is trying to deny black people the right to vote.

I left out Chick-fil-a, Hooters and Equifax because I assume they're hopeless.

In the past, sports has had an effect, push the NCAA, NFL, NBA, and MLB too. Georgians love their sports, if the NCAA issues a statement saying their college teams will be excluded from championships, or their sate will not be able to host bowl games, it will have a swift impact.

There's a saying... No taxation without representation. It's 2021. You're right. The blowback needs to be swift and fierce. Looks like we have to take it back to the 1950s/ 1960s style boycotts. Bring these fckers to their knees. Whatever Stacey Abrams says to do, I'm doing.

their votes.

So it's not about turnout. It's not even about the count.
It's about legislatures overturning the turnout AND ANY count if their Republican candidates don't win.

Whether it's easy or not is arguable. It wasn't done a long time ago because it wasn't needed, most likely. Now the minority party thinks they get to override the popular vote, and has the money to do it. Court fight rulings might determine the limits of legislatures.
