Biden on voting rights: "I'm not gonna lay out a strategy in front of the whole world and you now".

I have heard Chuck Schumer and Amy Klobuchar say the that HR.1 & HR.4 will pass Congress and be enacted.

When they do so, interviewers usually turn to the latest comment by Manchin, and general discussion of the filibuster.

I don't know what discussions are taking place behind closed doors amongst Manchin, Sinema and the leadership. And neither do the pundits.

What I do know is that Schumer and Klobuchar are saying - without qualification - that the Bills are going to pass. And what I am seeing is something more than confidence - it is the demeanor of predators stalking their prey.

The leadership have runs on the board. I am more than prepared to give them the benefit of the doubt without all the gory/tasty details.

1. I would love to see HR1 pass, but I don't have much confidence that it's going to pass

"Constitutional Muster" according to Boofin' Brett and the Handmaid, et al.

That bill passes, it will be at SCOTUS very quickly.

I don't have much hope that much of it will remain after that trip.

I say this very sadly and angrily.

Tremendously.

But I see your point. We’ll see.

Is there any other remedy to 43 states going fascist?

and it's infuriating that they have a 6-3 advantage via such shady f***ing means.

I don't know that there is any other way, and we have to try and hope for the best.

If Marc has confidence that gives me hope, thanks

She’s not one, nor is Schumer to just give lip service

Great analogy “the demeanor of predators stalking their prey”

- that's what I saw on that interview with Rachel. Amy was not just up for the fight - she was relishing it.
