My mantra for keeping me calm when GA does horrible things is not working right now. Summoning the memories of all those amazing people: MLK, John Lewis, Julian Bond, and thoughts of those still with us, Jimmy Carter, Stacey Abrams are not enough to counter the horror of yesterday.

1. These new laws will not stand

This is far from over, the people of Georgia will not tolerate this, and neither will the courts.

2. The courts are full of Nazis and racists,

It's what Mitch McConnell has been doing, packing the courts. What ever happened to the beer pong SC justice who was never properly vetted by the FBI? I know, nothing has been done.

4. The packing of the courts was overstated

Sure, Trump got a ton of judges through for a 1 termer, but it's still not the majority of the Federal judges who are serving. By the end of Joe's first term, the Federal Judiciary will be mostly judges Obama and Biden appointed. Right now it's mostly judges Obama, Bush, and Clinton appointed.

5. I think they deliberately left in the water bottles so Supreme Court would have something to remove.

Giving them the win by letting all the rest stand, which is really everything they wanted. The water is just gratuitous animus for their base so they know GA officials are still hate filled asses, just like them.

3. I am hoping the courts will save democracy.

But that is not certain.
