(2,391 posts)And we know republicans do not give a damn about the will of the people. Florida voters choose to allow former felons to vote? Republicans "fixed" that. Missouri voters vote to expand Medicaid? Republicans say, nah we're not going to do that. Pennsylvania republicans were willing to simply throw out everyone's vote for president. And then there are the seditionists. Oy

(9,988 posts)Assuming Abrams runs again, she would win without Republican voter suppression and unethical behavior. Abrams would have beaten Kemp in 2018 if as Secretary of State he had not refused to process 53,000 registrations from African American communities until after the election. Thats in addition to the thousands he purged from the voter rolls prior to the election. He win by just over 50,000 votes.

(2,166 posts)Shouldnt this be brought to the Supreme Court? I know they normally rule that how elections are ran is up to the state, but theres got to be some bridge thats too far.

(32,701 posts)I live in Dekalb. I'm a resident of one of the counties that the QOP has deemed problematic.
Voters in Dekalb and Fulton will be silenced if something isn't done about this! If there were ever a scenario in which a state Capitol needed to be stormed, this is it! But unlike the QOP thugs, we're going to find peaceful ways to reverse this atrocity.
