I heard on the news this morning that the guaranteed income trial program in Oakland Ca. is expected to have multiple lawsuits filed against it because it is restricted to people of color, should get interesting.

As long as it's not federal money being distributed I don't see what the big deal is.

I mean, honestly, I like the idea of a guaranteed income across the board. And theoretically Im in support of the concept of reparations. Logistically, though, how would you even make the Oakland concept work? How do you determine who is eligible in a reasonable and fair manner?
