"Hey---JOE! Damn it! MY issue is more important than ANY other and I am a good

Democrat who voted for you! THEREFORE---if you don't drop everything else on your agenda and by God, take care of what I need RIGHT NOW, you will have failed in my eyes!"

That about says it, doesn't it? Isn't that the attitude of some of our fellow Democrats?

Aren't we ignoring President Obama's advice: "Don't let the Perfect be the enemy of the Good"?

We all have our priorities. I believe Joe wants to address all of them.

But, all of them can't go first.

Let's quit handing wedges to our opponents by making public statements about our "disappointments".

You and I (and everybody else) is entitled to fight like hell for our agenda, and what we believe in. But the (public) professions of 'disappointment' and 'disillusion' and 'missed opportunity' -- that's not really accomplishing anything except pissing people off. It's the co-worker that is perpetually bitching and whining and complaining -- this isn't right, and that doesn't work -- about every single thing during the day -- and getting very little actual work done at the same time. Make your point known, in the places where it might accomplish something -- and then get back to work! Enough with the kvetching!
