Why, it's the sound of the quadrennial migration of the Right Wing Loonatics. The sound is overwhelming as they fight each other no matter how far apart they are.
Their fights are never physical because they are really teeny birdrainlets with no courage for physical contact. Their distinguishing characteristics are the enormous wings on their right side. This makes flying forward almost impossible. Instead they circle continuously around the same point. They move from one place to another as parasites who latch on to any and all animals.
They also have microscopic heads with brains of the same size. However, by some unfortunate quirk of nature they are able to make ear splitting sounds that can be heard for miles. Their mating call is odd too. It sounds like "No! No taxes! Nonononono!" repeated over and over. They are also similar to chameleons who change constantly to resemble whatever group they are in.
It is a blessing that they never remain in one place for too long. They are constantly in motion because they need to find new stores of food because they can pick any place down to the bone in nanoseconds. They are indiscriminate eaters who consume anything. Some of it will help them, and the rest will be destroyed.
They leave behind coloies of baby Right Wing Loonatics who are too young to fly. Once their Wings are large enough, they join the circling maelstrom and forget where they came from.
They will be in SC until January 21st. I am in my soundproofed apartment for the duration. I have plenty of beer and popcorn.

(14,531 posts)a beer delivery, let me know. I have DVR'ed so many shows in hopes of avoiding the ads.
I toyed with the idea of going to a perry event and asking him who he plans on throwing his support to, Buddy Roemer?
I find it very telling that it started raining as soon as the candidates flocked here. In the right wing world it is a sign that Gawd is not happy with them.
