7. The earth's climate does change 'naturally', but it doesn't 'just change'

When it's changed in the past, before humanity, there were still 'reasons' that it changed. It didn't just 'up and change'.

We know what the reason(s) was/were in quite a few cases.

And guess what one of those reasons was? High levels of CO2.

But just because CO2 levels have risen in the past, doesn't mean humanities actions could not ALSO cause CO2 levels to rise, with the same effect on climate.

Only ... way worse, because those changes happened over 1000's of years, not 100 years. And the plants and critters of the world evolved to deal with the types of changes that happen naturally (in many cases), but not the type of change that happens when some new species dumps 50,000,000 years worth of sequestered carbon into the atmosphere in one damn century of time. There's no natural process that would do this.
