My biggest fear about the red state voting laws

In the states where the legislature is being allowed to participate in the certification process, if there is a close election where the Democrat has won, they will in effect, simply manufacture a reason and give the election to the Republican candidate. There is nothing in the Democratic bill that addresses this possibility. This has all been made possible by one man of no conscience who will blatantly lie for his own benefit. He has convinced a substantial number of people that the last Presidential election was stolen.

6. I think the Democrats would have to take them to court on violating the right to vote.

The constitution gives the legislatures the right to regulate the elections but, the founding father didn't envision blatantly stealing an election.

Like you say, they (with no thought of ethics or morality) will happily make up situations out of thin air to turn the election over to the thuglican controlled legislature to place their candidates in office. They tried to do just that already in the previous election. Thugs don't care a whit about the voice or will of the majority populace....They are autocratic theo fascist scumbags (being polite). Hope some ideas for stopping this reign of terror (figuratively and literally) can be put in place before it is too late....

They are just running with a reason to cook the books.

Cheating in order to win is totally acceptable to them. In their eyes if their god didn’t want it to happen, “he” wouldn’t let it happen. It’s very convenient.

It’s all business to them: Democracy is for suckers and money rules.
