(6,642 posts)Texas which has 10 million more has significantly lower Covid despite also fully opening and hosting Covid spreading events. In this one case I think its instructive to compare Spring Break states. Generally, I agree over the longer term the per capita number is better

(38,635 posts)NY is above Florida. (The asterisk about NY using 2018 data is irrelevant, since since the numbers you reported are totals, not total/100,000 people)
