(35,669 posts)Especially after I read here that my favorite vegetarian cookbook author, Mollie Katzen, tweeted that she would be cooking for everyone at the lines.
Now take that a little farther and there might be a big turnout of chefs, all cooking up goodies for people waiting on the lines.
I could see Chef Jose Andres and others who have helped out in a big way during Covid showing up to cook.
And what about Georgia-based chefs like Deborah VanTrece, owner of the Twisted Soul Kitchen? There are many other well known restaurant owners/chefs who might want to do something like this.
Now that boils down to free food. Heh. Nothing draws like free food.
I don't see police arresting chefs and community organizers who do this. The "optics" would be too bad.
See what a monster you created, GOP?
