Dr. Birx : "I knew I was being watched. Everybody inside was waiting for me to make a misstep

see 3 minute clip.

“I knew I was being watched. Everybody inside was waiting for me to make a misstep so that they could, I guess, remove me from the task force,” says Dr. Deborah Birx, the White House coronavirus response coordinator under fmr. Pres. Trump, on the pressures she faced. #CNNSOTU

very hard that a professional woman with her education and credentials found it hard to speak up against intimidation during the most serious healthcare problem we've seen in a Century. All while she was supposed to be in charge of protecting the citizens of the United States. BS!

but the reality is after several months into the pandemic it was no secret how deadly this virus was, and is, and much of those deaths are due to people not taking proper precautions, because social distancing and wearing a mask was a “infringement” on their freedoms

After the first 100 thousand deaths, there was no mystery about this

Both Birx and Fauci were set up for failure and defying your superiors is easier said than done. Fauci managed to thread the needle and warn Americans with the strongest messaging available to him at the time. Anybody with half a brain knew what was going on last year, so that messaging got out there. Birx's messaging was more muddled, with a late attempt to clean it up.

Your rewriting of history isn't going to work, so save yourself some time and energy and use it to pick out the next scarf you're going to wear.

Most of us will never forget your head nodding while Your Master spoke gibberish and nonsense about how to deal with a pandemic.

I believe I posted something very early on in the pandemic when people were talking about how "smart" she was that she lost all credibility with me when she stood behind him and nodded her head to indicate she agreed with the orange jerk.
