She tossed her Hippocratic oath in the trash when she remained silent to Trumps lies.

The Oath

I swear to fulfill, to the best of my ability and judgment, this covenant:

I will respect the hard-won scientific gains of those physicians in whose steps I walk, and gladly share such knowledge as is mine with those who are to follow.

I will apply, for the benefit of the sick, all measures which are required, avoiding those twin traps of overtreatment and therapeutic nihilism.

I will remember that there is art to medicine as well as science, and that warmth, sympathy, and understanding may outweigh the surgeon's knife or the chemist's drug.

I will respect the privacy of my patients, for their problems are not disclosed to me that the world may know. Most especially must I tread with care in matters of life and death. If it is given me to save a life, all thanks. But it may also be within my power to take a life; this awesome responsibility must be faced with great humbleness and awareness of my own frailty. Above all, I must not play at God.

I will remember that I do not treat a fever chart, a cancerous growth, but a sick human being, whose illness may affect the person's family and economic stability. My responsibility includes these related problems, if I am to care adequately for the sick.

I will prevent disease whenever I can, for prevention is preferable to cure.

I will remember that I remain a member of society, with special obligations to all my fellow human beings, those sound of mind and body as well as the infirm.

If I do not violate this oath, may I enjoy life and art, respected while I live and remembered with affection thereafter. May I always act so as to preserve the finest traditions of my calling and may I long experience the joy of healing those who seek my help.

I have no doubt drumpf treated her like shit because he did everyone.... but she's no object of pity. she was more worried about consolidating her own power and position than anything else.

The real Birx:

Birx's forward-facing role as a public health expert masks an ambitious political chameleon, whose staying power in numerous administrations during her three decades in government has come at no small cost to her management style and her notoriety among peers, according to interviews with more than a dozen people who have worked with her, including current and former administration officials.

We both know that it was no excuse for her actions. She is a doctor and better than this. She blew her oath. She is responsible for those deaths. She remained silent.

He has zero respect for women, so he wouldn't hesitate to push her around.

Probably one of his "you're gonna have some problems" kind of underhanded threats.

Sorry, Debbie, no sad feelings from me here!

He yanked Ivanna's hair out of her scalp during their marriage, supposedly!

I will never forget how Dr. Birx was smiling from ear-to-ear during the early "Task Force" press conferences, and wondering if she was really so desperate for attention that she'd work under a monster?

C'mon, how could she not know? Maybe she was truly unaware somehow, but just look at all of the people who quit working for Trump's clown show!

I’m sorry Dr Birx didn’t have the strength needed to stand up to Trump in the moment, but he is a well-practiced and manipulative bully. There were a lot of others around her who likewise failed to stand up to him — imo there is no way she should take the fall for them.

Dr Fauci is the only person in that department who managed to negotiate the land mines, while still maintaining his dignity and telling the truth at all times.
