at KU. As a freshman he was Sancho Panza in Man of La Mancha. Later he was Rosencranz in back-to-back productions of Hamlet & Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead.

He was brilliant in every part he played, even as such a young performer.

I enjoyed his work in that movie very much and was disappointed that he was not in the TV series. But I understood he had more important roles and the Eric Pierpoint was very good in the series.

I didn't see The Princess Bride until several years later, since I am more a science fiction fan than fantasy.

My husband just came in to get the dog's bowl to make her dinner. I showed him the video and said 'You have to do this for Maizy'. He looked at the dog and said 'There is good news and bad news. The good news is, dinner is coming. The bad news is that there is no vocal accompaniment!'

Love this video so much! Such a thoughtful and caring man.
