(82,849 posts)More than once, he said "in custody is in care." That is, when the police have someone in custody, it's their affirmative duty to make sure any person in custody is treated properly. I don't think there will be a serious dispute by the defense that George Floyd was in the custody of the Minneapolis Police Department at the time of his demise.

(2,336 posts)Does not matter if ultimately he had a heart attack, etc., he would not have been killed that day unless Chauvin had acted. Again, case closed. This should not be difficult to get a conviction, cop or no. We all saw a murder on our screens.
