(44,973 posts)One was watching the beating, the other came toward the end of the beating and closed the door instead of trying to help the victim.

(6,477 posts)He has a hat on and sees the entire beating, at least from the camera view we have.
The security guard is hatless and comes in after the kicking has stopped and closes the door. He definitely does not render aid, but I don't know that he witnessed any of the actual beating. the delivery guy definitely did.

(6,477 posts)He is certainly culpable in a variety of ways for not rendering aid, and probably more. He appears to be summoned over by the delivery guy, in my view.

(61,695 posts)WTF is wrong with people that close off assistance or fail to render aid, even after the perp is gone? Why didn't they call 911 for an ambulance?

"I put my hand on my face and when I saw my hand, it was full of blood," Noel Quintana says
By Wendy Grossman Kantor | February 18, 2021 09:59 AM
Around 8 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 3, Noel Quintana boarded the L train at Jefferson Station in Brooklyn. The 61-year-old was headed to Harlem, where he works as an administrative assistant at a non-profit that works with mentally challenged people.
As he stood in the crowded car, Quintana silently prayed the rosary.
The man standing next to him then kicked the tote bag Quintana was holding, which held his keys, ID and paperwork.
Quintana moved the tote in front of him so it wouldn't disturb the stranger.
A few minutes later, the man allegedly kicked his bag again.

(8,573 posts)That looks suspiciously like a Fed Ex uniform, dammit. My hisband works for Fed Ex. I'm going to ask him to look at it tonight. But if it is Fed Ex, the building owners, the cops will all know because tracking and delivery. Fed Ex will know exactly who that was via the delivery information, down to the hour, minute, second, employee number, amount of time spent on that stop, and the packages picked up and/or delivered. I hope all those people get fired.
