1. No...you're ALSO supposed to believe its not racism too...
They could care less about the 550,000+ dead because they learned that it was disproportionately non-white poor (i.e. - NOT richer whites) dying. There was a moment last April when the data first came out on COVID-19 deaths being more severe in black and Hispanic communities that triggered the "re-open the business/city/state/country" morons, then the Michigan seditionists, then the Proud Boys and Oath Keepers all the way up to and beyond January 6th.
Now, an extra additional aspect on the belief spectrum would include the inanity of the "Q" bullshit - a 'theory' so stupendously ignorant and outlandish that I really did believe for a long time it was just a prank, like Poe's Law: On the internet, it's impossible to tell who is joking. In other words, it's the thinking person's ¯_(?
![]() The Republican Party's take away from the 4 years of That Which Will Not Be Named attempting to seize dictatorial power and wipe his ample and expanding ass with the Constitution was not to find a central organizing belief or policy agendas...nah...that would be actual governance and their entire raison d'etre is now simply "Cut Taxes, End Government". Add to all of this the fact that you cannot shame them into behaving like sentient adults any longer and you get what we are currently living through - one party trying desperately to save the Republic and ease the suffering of the people, and the other flinging poo at the walls and insisting that its fine art and equally worthy of discussion and consideration. |

3. Republican party, the party of NO!
No health care for you!
No wage rise for you! No covid relief check for you! Got the 'NO!' act down just fine. Now a thinking person might ask . . . OK then, suggest another, equally beneficial alternative? Republican party: Crickets! Perhaps a quiet Mumble, mumble, nothing for you, just tax cuts for the top end of town? So Republicans, please work on the 'What Comes After The NO!' part, please! |

5. Well, you can't beat a virus during a traffic stop, or make it pick lettuce in 135 degree heat.
Can't sell those concepts to even your dumbest supporters, can you?

9. They have racist beliefs about COVID too
Racism is their answer to many problems. As if Asian-Americans are somehow responsible for COVID, not the stupid anti-maskers defying all guidelines to spread it around.

10. The answer to his question is "Yes"; most decidedly and firmly "Yes".
That's their story, and they're sticking to it.
As long as they can sell it to their base, that's the way it will be told. |
