Update for stimulus SS,SSDI and VA bad news

So the IRS finally announced a date if you get SSI,SSDI your payment date is April 7th if you are Veterans Affairs your date is a vague Mid-April.

To say this is causing an uproar on social media towards the administration is putting it mildly. My veteran group is claiming Biden is to blame which is not true of course but being a lone firefighter is not going to help with this blaze. Especially after it was announced last week was one of the largest influx of pure cash from people just willing to stockpile their $1400 and didn’t need it

2. The IRS said my payment would post March 25, 2021

It posted to my bank account on March 24, 2021, a day early.

I receive SSDI btw.

5. It's encouraging to hear

Seriously it has been stressful waiting for this little extra. I was hoping it would drop tomorrow since they do direct deposit on Wednesdays.

7. It was a two-party direct deposit

Payable to my husband and me.

He is on SSA.

The last time around we received one of those debit cards.

We also received the other $1200 ($600 X 2) earlier this year.

The money is on its way.

Try not to worry -- easier said than done I realize this.
