Rep. Tim Ryan getting things done

This was from our local paper here in N. E.
Ohio.
Tim Ryan said FEMA will now implement the funeral assistance program nationwide. Ryan helped secure this 2 Billion in funding for FEMA disaster relief fund through Covid-19 relief bill and fisical year 2021 spending package that was signed into law December 2020.
The last thing American families need when struggling with the loss of a loved one from Covid-19 is the burden of additional bills for the funeral.

The funeral business is very important to people who's raison d'être is to slavishly serve the wealthy while monetizing the deaths of un-wealthy voters.

..hospital; under 55 had never complained of ever having a cold. Apparently had covid symptoms or flu like symptoms that persisted to the point was taken asked to emergency and immediately placed on respirator.

The loss of life, cost of funeral expenses has taken its toll on many Americans. According to FEMA up $9,000 may be reimbursed. [Note: Thank you for post--this is valuable info that can possibly provide some needed assistance. ]

loss. We have lost family also. How horrible this pandemic has been. Don’t know how anyone can deny it still. My sympathy.

but normally the limelight would go to a more senior member. Perhaps, once again, the unseen hand of Speaker Pelosi, raising the public profile of a potential 2022 Senatorial candidate? She previously had Ryan chairing very public oversite committee hearings.

After decades of Republican governance we are shocked that the wealth of the country is being spent on poor people instead of granting tax cuts to the wealthy.

This is how it should be, get used to it. It’s how America was made great in the first place—humility and sharing. Those are real strengths, not loudmouth Republican threats and bragging.
