Another witness breaking down in tears at the Chauvin trial

An older man who saw the situation, up close and personal. They showed the police officer body came footage. He's absolutely unable to continue. The host on CNN, right now, is almost in tears, too. As am I.

Up until they showed that footage, he was fine.

2. I cannot understand why police interpret everything as aggression.

I suppose it is a part of inherent racism. But Mr. Floyd was clearly having a panic attack and being treated as though he was trying to...what? Escape? Fight? Neither of those things was possible. They could have backed off and let him calm down, or closed him up in the car (they're built to take people thrashing around) and talked to him through the window til he calmed down. They could have bound his feet and let him lie on the pavement til he calmed down.

They wanted the fight. They wanted to conquer him. Killing was an option.

8. One does wonder. He sure as hell seemed to want him dead.

If he walks the country is going to lose its mind.

11. As I recall the two had a history. Both worked as part time bouncers in the same club.

Again, I'm not sure this is completely accurate, but I think they had altercations.

13. My completely unverified thoughts are that Chauvin was a racist, and he personally hated Floyd.

When he recognized Floyd in that vulnerable position, he saw his chance, and acted on it. No way was Chauvin letting Floyd get out of that situation alive. JMHO

If I heard correctly, he said he lost his own mother between the incident and the trial.
