I am pleased to see Biden on board with restoring the corporate tax rates that Reagan had when he was in office to pay for the American Jobs Plan. #RestoreTheReaganRates

For those replying we need higher rates, I do understand this. I just find it ironic that today’s GOP is so opposed to the very rates that their hero Reagan had implemented.

Restoring the tax structure to the tax code is just that, not raising taxes. ffr Apr 2021 #4

I am asking because the wealthy and corporations have worked very hard to establish many many write-offs--deductions--to reduce the taxes they owe.

If these deductions aren't removed from the tax code, then many corporations and wealthy will still not have any increase in the taxes that they pay.

the bill likely won't have the teeth is should have.

The friends of Wall Street and corporations in DC will see to that.
