Donald Trump's former bodyguard says the former President still owes him the $130 for cheeseburgers he bought for the McDonald's loving billionaire. Kevin McKay worked for The Donald in Scotland and claims that after five years of putting up with his rants, arguments and temper tantrums, he is still out of pocket now.
'I thought he was an okay guy when I first started working for him but I guess that as we have all come to see, he is not a man of his word.'
In his exclusive interview, Kevin tells for the first time how he witnessed Trump snapping at his wife, browbeating contractors and intimidating uncooperative landowners, while battling to keep his famous bouffant hair in shape in the fierce Scottish wind. Kevin McKay was fired in 2012.

(3,973 posts)He "snapped at his wife" on national television during his inauguration, for Pete's sake.
And there were legions of stories about how he doesn't pay his bills. If this guy bought him "hamberders" and expected to be reimbursed, I have no sympathy.

(25,380 posts)Too bad his fan base is so hard to wake up. You would think 550,000 dead would do it, but that hasn't made a dent.
In comparison, people who worked for Hillary Clinton love her to death.

(11,767 posts)There are a certain number of people who I guess, absolutely have to learn for themselves. Not something that I have espoused. Granted, there are times when someone might have had a bad experience with someone and decided not to like them, but when a person has a pretty universal reputation as an asshole, I am not sure why people would not heed that opinion. I have been in that situation where a friend of mine doesn't like another friend of mine and I have been able to get along with both. If every one of my friends had experienced negative things with another person I was meeting, I would be very wary having any interaction with that guy.
I have never met, nor plan to meet Roger Stone, and I don't care if he has a sense of humor, or likes a style of music I might like. The guy has the reputation of being a complete asshole, and I have seen video of him acting like a complete asshole. I don't need to hang around with Stone to confirm whether he is or not.
Trump is a jerk. Always has been. Always will be.

(20,542 posts)NOT! Apparently people who are already aware of his bad reputation, think "well, he'll be different with me".
Trump's reputation as a deadbeat has been known for decades. I can't understand why anyone would have anything to do with that piece of crap. I guess it's the same reason people voted for him. They all expected him to be different when he became president, too. A leopard can't change it's spots, and neither can a braying jackass change it's character.
