Please give him a thought.
He's extremely private on the exact nature, but I know he's been pretty anxious about it.

(71,919 posts)... actually is a nice person with an interesting outlook. He comes from about where my great-grandparents moved up to from Kentucky by wagon and mules in the late 1890s. He's talked about his parent's home where he now lives, and it reminds me of being in my great-grandparents' home in the 1950s.
When I had my whack at the scalpel two years ago, he was one of a bunch of DUers who stayed up on it with me.
He's a very decent person.

(26,080 posts)How did he do?
I hope his experience turns out as good as my surgery yesterday. The procedures was to fix a venous issue in my elbow. In most people this would be nothing, but I have a rare vascular birth defect on my entire left side and 2 previous vein surgeries didn't go well at all. Everyone said they'd never seen anything like the giant pool of blood inside my inner elbow and I was scared to death, even cried the night before and I never cry. But the surgery was great, pain level is very mild and I can use my arm just not to lift anything 10 lbs. or over for 2 weeks. I know I could still have complications like I did before, but as of today, I am cautiously optimistic.
