Scott McFarland THREAD: "Among the most egregious yet identified" of the US Capitol Insurrection cases, according to federal judge. New court filings against Jeffrey McKellop, a military vet from Virginia
***Accused of stabbing police officer in face***

Feds: McKellop used his military skills to come "prepared for this task" .... with gas mask to protect against spray from police

!! Feds: "After assaulting a line of officers, including attempting to grab the riot-control spray out of the hands of one officer, (McKellop) offered them a universal symbol of disrespect—the middle finger"

Justice Dept says McKellop weaponized a flag pole and struck police

Feds say a police officer attacked by McKellop has injuries that are "still visible months later"

This is such a cliffhanger! Anyone know where I can read the rest of it? I want to know what he did after he stabbed the officer.

Sorry, I will keep looking for more about him!

on edit: from the previous Army Times post: Police body cameras caught McKellop pushing officers, trying to grab a riot control spray canister from one and throwing a flagpole like a spear at another, causing a laceration to that officer’s face, the complaint alleged.

Screenshots included in the document showed McKellop wearing the same helmet and ballistic vest that he used in an overseas combat zone in 2018, according to one of two witnesses who came forward to identify him to FBI agents.

Maybe he went to the White House to get his medal?
