I am wondering how best to protect my CDC COVID vaccine card

I have been tempted to go have this card laminated

I would not mind this sticker

Right now, I am leaning toward a plastic cover and laynard

On a couple of websites, I have seen Disney pins on vaccinations I will be at Walt Disney World in May and will look for some pins
https://www.etsy.com/market/vaccine_pin
I promise not to attempt this look

13. That's what they told me to do when I was vaccinated.

I then emailed it to my GMAIL account so I could access it from any computer or cell phone.

They also told me not to laminate in case a booster shot needs documentation.

4. We were told by the vaccinators not to laminate,

because they may have to write on the card again if a booster is needed and they could tear it getting the laminate off.

and laminate at home with packing tape on both sides. I make bumper stickers by hand and this is cheap. When I eventually get mine I will make a copy into a sticker and put it on my purse. Or maybe I will turn it into a pin to wear.

7. 1-yea, DON'T laminate ORIGINAL for booster room. 2-COPIES for laminating.

3-pending booster, i entered my shingles and pneumonia vaxes on a couple of copies.

4-with a Publishing program I SHRANK the copies to credit card size for wallet and lanyard and laminated these copies.

***** Years ago bought a laminating machine, very handy, has lasted forever, and even with a couple jamming disasters has been easy to unscrew.

8. Do NOT get your card laminated at Staples IF it has any info on a sticker.

I went to Staples with the idea of getting my card laminated. All of the info on my card is written on stickers that are attached to the card. The Staples employee said that once they apply heat to the laminate to seal it around the card the stickers will burn and turn black from the heat, obliterating all the info contained thereon.

I took a picture of the card on my iPhone and put the card in the family strong box.

you should be in your state vaccination database, so the card can be replaced. I would just put it with important papers and take a photo for use if needed.

12. I ordered one of those "sleeve" protectors (from China, of course and haven't gotten it yet)

But, I do like the idea of NOT Laminating, so that I can update it with boosters in the future.

That said, I am with those who strongly encourage taking a photo of it, or scanning it (both sides) and keeping that digital file secured.
